SENIOR IP COUNSEL

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of a major technology group, and specializes in the design and marketing of high performance, mixed-signal and digital integrated circuits (ICs) aimed at the high speed computer, storage, communications and multimedia markets.

Support and managing IP issues, including the patent procurement and prosecution mission; managing outside counsel; drafting and reviewing transaction documents and license agreements; analyzing competitors' products for possible infringement; supporting corporate counsel; and preparing invalidity and noninfringement opinions of third party patents. Other responsibilities include assisting in any litigation matter; providing legal counsel, invalidity and noninfringement opinions of third party patents.

Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills - must be excellent communicator, good listener, comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced, constantly changing environment. Should have a global perspective and desire to be part of a global team.

At least 5 years of patent procurement and prosecution experience with top tier law firm.
Experience with semiconductor technology.
