The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of a major technology group, and specializes in the design and marketing of high performance, mixed-signal and digital integrated circuits (ICs) aimed at the high speed computer, storage, communications and multimedia markets.

DIRECTOR, IP LITIGATION
IP Counsel will be responsible for supporting and managing outside counsel in intellectual property litigation. Other responsibilities include providing legal counsel, invalidity and noninfringement opinions of third party patents, supporting negotiations to resolve third party patent matters, assisting in patent procurement program, drafting and reviewing transaction documents and license agreements, and analyzing competitors' products for possible infringement.

Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills - must be excellent communicator, good listener, comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced, constantly changing environment. Should have a global perspective and desire to be part of a global team. At least 10 years of patent litigation experience with top tier law firm.
Experience with semiconductor technology.

BS in Electrical Engineering
JD from a top tier ABA accredited law school
